Dietary Aide - Full time, 36 hrs/week, 12-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every other weekend.

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Position Summary

The Food Service Specialist is responsible for maintaining sanitation in the department and food service areas for patients, visitors, and staff. Duties include routine food serving, cleaning, and sanitizing work areas, dishes, equipment, utensils, and pots and pans. This position reports to the Cook in the absence of the Dietary Director and/or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, deliver, and pick up food, dishes, and supplies from serving areas, including the Residential Center.
• Serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff, and replenish food and supplies as needed.
• Portion food according to instructions from the Cook, Dietary Director, or Supervisor.
• Store food and supplies following department procedures.
