Job summary

The Grand at Maple City in New York is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal service and room-tray delivery. This role offers full-time and perdiem schedules with daytime shifts (7a-3p) for FT and 4p-8p for perdiem, at $16.00 per hour. You will work closely with kitchen and care teams to support resident dining needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and maintain dish room cleanliness.
• Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
• Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Pour coffee, soups, and manage beverages.
• Sweep, mop, and keep dining areas and storerooms clean.
• Restock supplies and manage leftovers and waste.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule: Full-time and perdiem positions open

Pay Ranges: $16.00 Hourly

Full-time Hours: 7a-3p

Perdiem/part-time Hours: 4p-8p

Key Responsibilities:

• Dish room Operations: Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
• Food Preparation & Tray Setup: Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
• Meal Delivery: Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Beverage & Soup Service: Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.
• Restocking & Waste Management: Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Experience: Experience in food service is a plus.
• Teamwork: Positive attitude and strong ability to collaborate with others.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation is required.
