White Oak Manor York is seeking a Dietary Aide/Dietary Cook to support daily meal prep and service in a 109-bed skilled nursing campus in York, SC. You will follow planned menus, assist with special diets, and help keep the kitchen clean and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn).

• Reliability and attention to detail.
• Six months experience preferably in institutional food preparation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of daily meals following planned menus.
• Prepare food in accordance with special diets and resident needs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and temperature control.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and other kitchen-related duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Support high standards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.
