Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing palatable meals per planned menus and temperature requirements.
• Maintain logs of temperatures, chemical levels, and other records as directed.
• Work with the facility dietitian, dietary supervisor, staff and nursing to implement changes.
• Adhere to dietary policies, safety and sanitation rules; participate in team activities.
• Provide warmth and service-oriented care, and maintain resident rights and confidentiality.
