Job summary

Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Centerville, MA is hiring a Dietary Aide to support the dining team. Responsibilities include following therapeutic diet orders, ensuring meal temperatures, and delivering meals on time. The role involves maintaining food presentation and sanitation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment; maintain sanitation and order.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm with residents.
• Willing to adopt new methods and principles into dietary practices.
• Able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages.
• Assure timely delivery of meals.
• Maintain visual appeal of food and use garnishes.
• Adhere to nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations.
• Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times.
• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dining director.
