Job summary

Lake Park Center is seeking two full-time Dietary Aides to assist cooks in providing nutritious meals from 5am-1:30pm and 11am-7pm. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, prior dietary aide experience in healthcare preferred, and a food handler certification (or ability to obtain one). Attendance must be prompt and regular.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous dietary aide experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food handler's certification or ability to obtain upon hiring.
• No convictions for abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property.
• Prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Stores and delivers meals following prescribed diets and timelines.
• Maintains sanitation and infection control standards.
• Prepares and serves meals in an attractive, safe manner.
• Sanitizes cookware, dishes and utensils; disposes of waste properly.
• Returns items to proper storage locations and keeps equipment clean.
