Job summary

Fox Chase Healthcare seeks an energetic dietary aide to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will assist in food preparation, deliver meals, and help maintain clean, sanitary dining areas while delivering compassionate resident service.

We offer flexible shifts, PTO, overtime pay, DailyPay, and a competitive salary with benefits. A Safe-Serve certification and a High School Diploma/GED are required, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safe-Serve Certification required.
• Previous food service aide experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow diet lists and portion food as specified.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, staff and public.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identified aspects of food preparation.
• Handle food and equipment per sanitation policies and procedures.
• Deliver food carts, trays to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.
• Provide an enhanced dining service and snacks as directed.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning per established policies.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas and sanitary handling of food and utensils, respect residents' rights.
