Job summary

Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation in Floyd, VA is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will work with our Dietitian/Director of Dietary Services to provide high-quality meal service that meets safety standards and dietary guidelines for residents.

You will assist with meal prep, ensure accuracy of trays, and help maintain a clean, safe food environment while supporting our mission to deliver excellent healthcare and dining experiences to residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience with food preparation is preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate a passion for working with others and providing quality care and service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the facility's Dietitian/Director of Dietary Services to implement dietary changes.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure trays are accurate before serving.
• Timely delivery and pickup of food carts to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Adhere to federal and state sanitary regulations and infection control guidelines.
• Contribute ideas to improve systems and processes in dietary services.
