Job summary

Brush Hill Care Center in Milton, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for residents. You will deliver dishes and ensure sanitary conditions in cooking and dining areas, following safety standards.

Opportunities for growth exist for students or those entering the culinary/food service, nutrition, or dietetics fields. This in-person role supports meal service and daily kitchen operations at our facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service encouraged; training provided
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Good communication and customer service attitude

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware, and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
