Job summary

Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chicopee, MA is seeking a dietary aide to support meal service and resident care tasks.

You will portion and serve food, deliver trays, clean dining areas, and assist on the tray line. No experience is required—training will be provided. Availability every other weekend and holiday, with hours from early morning to evening; benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to speak English adequately to perform job.
• Must be flexible between the hours of 6 am and 8 pm.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Responsibilities

• Portioning and serving of food items.
• Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors.
• Cleaning of dining rooms.
• Working on the tray line.
• Working in the dish room and pot sink.
• Sweeping and mopping.
• Disposal of trash and recyclables.
• Per Diem duties as outlined by Director of Dietary Services.
