Job Description: Dietary Aide

Location: Robstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Robstown, TX

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: Undisclosed

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and that the dining hall and dishes are cleaned after meals.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food preparation and cooking, following universal precautions and regulations
• Prepare and serve beverages
• Set up and pass trays for meal service
• Stock the snack cart
• Bust tables and trays
• Clean the kitchen work area
• Wash dishes
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CDM or Executive Director

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate

Experience Requirements

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
