Job summary

Transitional Care Center of Seattle is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. The role focuses on assisting with tray assembly, food service, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

You will read production orders, set up trays with utensils and condiments, and help with food preparation while ensuring meals reach the proper temperature and presentation standards. This is a team-oriented environment that supports growth.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in meal service and presentation.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays including utensils, napkins, straws, condiments.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at proper time, at correct temperature and presentation.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen; wash dishes and keep area clean.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area.
