Job summary

Oakmont Manor in Kentucky is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our caring team on the Evening Shift. This full-time, on-site role works with the Cook to plan and serve meals, follow therapeutic diets, and ensure food safety and quality for residents.

You will communicate with the Dietary Supervisor, assist with menu planning, prepare meals, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area. Prior Food Service experience preferred; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication with kitchen staff
• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and therapeutic diets
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in kitchen and dining areas

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook in planning regular and special diet menus
• Prepare and serve meals according to portions and schedules
• Inspect trays for accuracy and presentation
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety
• Document observations and respond to dietary emergencies
• Operate dishwasher and report equipment issues
