Qualifications

Position Summary

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Dining Services Assistant is responsible for food service operations, including providing meals and nourishment to nursing care residents, maintaining nursing care pantries according to set guidelines, and following proper sanitation procedures, including dish room responsibilities and some janitorial functions.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• High school education or equivalent preferred (strong English and math background needed)
• One (1) year experience in a nursing home/hospital or hospitality setting preferred
• Food service experience preferred (training available)
• Reliable transportation
