As a Dietary Aide at Miller’s, you assist in the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times. You adhere to regulations and company policies regarding infection control and sanitation of your work area. Most importantly, you will interact with our patients and help them have an enjoyable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Able to pass physical examination required for employment within the facility
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training; able to follow written and verbal instructions

Essential Functions

• Report to work as scheduled or as otherwise requested
• Perform productively in your designated responsibilities
• Conform to the basic rules and regulations of the facility
• Remain in the work area unless on break, meal period, or with supervisor’s permission
• Follow dress and hygiene codes of the facility
• Exercise proper sanitation procedures
• Ensure resident safety by adhering to all policies and procedures
• Attend all mandated meetings and in-services unless excused
• Complete all required electronic in-services
• Assist in general maintenance of the work area

Exposure Category II: Tasks involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but unplanned Category I tasks may be required.

Part-Time Day Shift (6am-2pm) and Evening Shift (4pm-7:30pm), approximately 16-24 hrs/week
