Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in a supportive, patient-centered setting in California. The role involves assisting in all food functions, meal preparation according to dietary needs, and helping with meal service to residents.

As part of our team, you will work under the guidance of the Dietician and Dietary Management, follow sanitation protocols, and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents. Training is provided and benefits apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience not required, but preferred.
• We will train.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietician / Dietary Management and Cook as requested
• Help with meal preparation according to residents' dietary needs
• Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing
• Set up meal service and deliver meal trays and carts on time
• Follow established portion controls and sanitation guidelines
• Keep work areas, tables, refrigerators, and surfaces clean
• Wash dishes and clean utensils
• Return clean dishes to storage and manage waste per regulations
• Report any hazardous exposures to a supervisor
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain resident confidentiality
