Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dining services team in an environment that respects and cares for residents. You will assist with set-up, food service, and cleaning tasks while delivering friendly, attentive service to residents and visitors.

The role requires compassion for the elderly, good teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors. Flexible scheduling and a supportive work culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must work well as a part of a team and maintain confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and bussing tables.
• Wash dishes and assist the cook as needed.
• Complete cleaning duties and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
