Job summary

Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, MN, is seeking a part‑time Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. You’ll support meal preparation, serving residents, and ensuring a clean, sanitary dining environment within a warm, resident‑centered setting.

Candidates should have prior food service experience, a commitment to cleanliness, and strong teamwork and communication skills. High school diploma or GED is required to contribute to a caring community within Sunflower Communities.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and Serve Meals: Work with the culinary team to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences, creating healthy, flavorful menus.
  
• Monitor Residents’ Needs: Observe eating habits and report concerns like loss of appetite or swallowing issues to the appropriate staff.
  
• Maintain Cleanliness: Assist with kitchen and dining area cleaning to uphold a safe and sanitary environment.
  
• Operate Kitchen Equipment: Utilize food preparation tools under the guidance of the Executive Chef to ensure quality and presentation.
  

What You Bring to the Role

• Experience in Food Service: Prior experience in food preparation or cooking is required.
