Job summary

Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, MN, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. You’ll work every other weekend plus holidays, helping prepare and serve meals for residents with care and attention to dietary needs.

You’ll collaborate with a friendly team, follow sanitation guidelines, and help maintain a clean dining and kitchen area. Prior food service experience is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or cooking.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and hygiene.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals, meeting residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor residents’ eating habits and report concerns to staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas to uphold a safe environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment under the guidance of the Executive Chef to ensure quality and presentation.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring to the Role
