Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and appearance of dining service areas.
• Must possess the ability to adopt new dietary practices.
• Must be able to interact tactfully with staff, residents, family, visitors.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages.
• Deliver meals on a timely basis.
• Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize garnishes.
• Adhere to daily nourishment list and stock nourishment stations.
• Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times.
• Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure.
• Perform other duties assigned by the dining director.
