Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to interact with residents and staff.
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, set up trays and serve regular meals, and fulfill special requests.
• Deliver snacks and food requests for special events.
• Provide high level of customer service by following dietary guidelines and diet orders.
• Ensure food quality and temperature; deliver and retrieve trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions; clean tables, chairs, and equipment; follow policies and procedures.
