Job summary

Avante at Mt. Dora seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals, snacks and beverages for Residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards and Avante's policies, with guidance from the Dining Services leadership.

Full- and part-time positions are available. The role supports delivering a high-quality dining experience, with emphasis on reading and following directions, English proficiency, and a background screening requirement

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Completion of High School or GED equivalency
• At least 1 year experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of resident meals, snacks and beverages in accordance with established standards.
• Follow policies and procedures as directed by Dining Services Manager/Assistant Dining Services Manager to ensure quality dining experience for Residents.
