Job summary

The Broadview Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residents' dining experience with nutritious, well-prepared meals. You will prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitation, and assist with setup, delivery, and cleanup in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience, knowledge of safety guidelines, and a friendly, communicative demeanor. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with food service certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as dietary aide with culinary and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals per instructions using kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Physically fit for fast-paced environment.
• HS diploma or equivalent; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under dietary manager or cook guidance.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on schedule.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and utensil collection.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes.
• Monitor ingredient stock and inventory.
• Support upkeep of kitchen equipment.
