Qualifications

Job description

Rumford Community Home is seeking a per diem Dietary Aide/Cook to join ourteam!

Starting pay is $18.00.

Education and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and follow directions.
  • 1-3 years cooking experience.
  • Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide each resident with a well-balanced diet, per diet plan, executed by the Director of Personal Care Services and approved by the Dietitian.
  • Provide nutritionally balanced snacks and nourishments between meals and at bedtime.
  • Assists in the preparation of meals and snacks as directed by the Charge Cook or Director of Personal Care Services.
  • Use appropriate infection control technique in the handling of food.
  • Assists in washing dishes following meal service.
