Job Title: Dietary Cook
Location: Port Townsend WA
Job Type: Part-Time
Shift: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (Friday & Saturday)
Pay: $25/hour,Weekly Pay

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals while following dietary guidelines and food safety regulations. This role is essential in providing quality meals to residents/patients and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed menus, dietary restrictions, and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals are served at the correct temperature and on time.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, following food safety standards.
• Monitor and store food properly to prevent waste and contamination.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and follow instructions from the Dietary Manager.
• Assist with menu planning and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dietary aide or similar food industry experience.
• Must have Food Handler Permit as required by the State.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• COVID Vaccinated
• Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
• Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
