Job summary

Buckeye Terrace is seeking full-time Dietary Aides and Cooks for the morning and night shifts to ensure accurate, timely food service for residents in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities include following menus, preparing food, keeping areas clean, storing food properly, labeling, and assisting in other related duties as directed by the supervisor. At least one year of dietary and nursing home facility experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a dietary position.
• 1 year of experience in a long-term nursing home facility.

Responsibilities

• Follow menus and prepare food and beverages.
• Organize duties to complete tray service in a timely manner.
• Assure kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized according to dietary procedures.
• Store food in compliance with dietary procedures.
• Assist in preparing, covering, and labeling food.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
