Job summary

Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring Dietary Aides to join our dietary services team in Troy, Ohio. We offer both full-time and part-time roles to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment.

The role involves meal prep, food service, sanitation, and cooperative teamwork with dietary and nursing staff. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; prior food service or healthcare experience is a plus. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in dietary, food service, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist with meal service as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and food storage areas.
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
• Assist with stocking supplies and rotating inventory.
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments.
• Ensure residents receive courteous and respectful service at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Administrator.
