Job summary

Table Rock Senior Living at Barber Station is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dining team. You will assist with meal prep, ensure sanitation, and serve residents for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned.

Responsibilities include following recipes, stocking and rotating supplies with the Food Service Director, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation while providing compassionate resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (short order / quantity cooking).
• Serv-Safe certification required or willing to obtain on hire.

About the Opportunity

Ensures efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff. Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product. Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned. Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation. Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and availability of all dining services cookware, dishware, etc. Keep food prep, dining areas and/or dish room areas clean and sanitary. Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality of food preparation and presentation. Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.

• Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and the required meal prep techniques.
