Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking an entry-level Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team. You will prepare, cook, and serve meals for residents, help with dining room setup, and support the cook team while maintaining high sanitation standards.

We offer training, potential for career growth in long-term care, and competitive benefits. This role is based in Altus, OK, with full-time hours and opportunities for advancement within our facility.

Competenze

• Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card(We can help with this!)
• Training is provided.
• Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

We know that mealtime for residents is an important, exciting part of their day. A Cook/Dietary Aide's primary responsibility is to be responsible, reliable, attentive, and positive towards our residents as an aide, as well as cook, prepare, and serve meals for our residents.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Set up the dining room and serve residents
• Assist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific procedures
• Maintain strict sanitation and quality standards
• Store food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilage
• Accurately record meals served and monitor food temperatures
• Clean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedules
• Wash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practice
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Desired Experience and Education

• Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card(We can help with this!)
• Training is provided.
