Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic Dietary Aide to support the dining operations for a behavioral health facility serving youth. The role includes cooking, serving, food preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, with focus on meeting DHEC guidelines.

The position is full-time with day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, offering opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a high-volume food production setting, preferably in a hospital or institution.
  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to estimate food requirements; disassemble, assemble, operate and clean equipment.
  • Ability to interact with all people.
  • Some risk involved with aggressive/out-of-control residents.

Responsibilities

  • Cook, serve, and prepare foods.
  • Wash dishes and pots and pans.
  • Clean the kitchen and dining room.
  • Monitor, inventory, and store groceries.

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic & talented Dietary Aide

Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses.

The Dietary Aide Key Responsibilities include:

The dietary personnel are responsible for all aspects of the dining facilities dining facilities operation and ensuring DHEC and dietary guidelines are being met. Which includes cooking, serving and preparing foods, washing dishes and pots and pans, cleaning the kitchen and the dining room as well as monitoring, inventorying and storing groceries.

Full Time position. Schedule is days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
