Job summary

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Briarcliff Manor, NY is looking for a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services. In this PRN role you will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, safe setting.

Shifts include 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM with pay at $19.18 per hour. You will collaborate with the Food Services team to deliver meals, assist with basic kitchen tasks, and support residents with kindness and

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (training available).
Reliable, responsible, and eager to contribute to a team environment.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting elderly and disabled residents.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
Prepare, handle, and serve food following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Deliver food carts, trays, and supplies to dining areas and resident rooms.
Serve meals and snacks with warmth and professionalism.
Assist with routine cleaning duties according to facility standards.
Report any concerns or equipment issues promptly to the Food Services Supervisor.
Provide kind and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Services Director.
