Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take orders, seat and assist residents, deliver meals, and clear tables. Weekend and holiday rotation is required, with opportunities for part-time or PRN hours.

The role emphasizes sanitation certification, customer service in a dining environment, and teamwork within a caring community that values accountability and compassion.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from residents and guests.
• Seat and assist residents during dining.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware in a timely manner.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation.
