Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take orders, assist with seating, deliver meals, and clear tables in a timely manner.

This role supports cleaning tasks and food prep as needed; sanitation certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days is required. Evening or rotating shifts, part-time opportunities, and weekend/holiday rotations are available.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents' needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Taking food and drink orders.
• Seating and assisting residents when needed.
• Delivering meals.
• Removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
• May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.
