Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and provide friendly customer service in a supportive team environment.

Starting pay is USD $14.50 per hour. The role includes hands-on training, potential for career development, and access to employee benefits. Residency in the service area is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
