Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines and assist with daily dining operations, contributing to a positive resident experience.

Starting pay is USD $15.00 per hour, with benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance programs, and career development opportunities. Training and hands-on support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
