You will assist with meal preparation and tray assembly, deliver meals, uphold sanitation standards, and keep work areas clean. Strong communication and a team-oriented attitude are essential to provide a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare dining is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate items.
• Understanding of basic sanitation and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food service according to established guidelines.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents or patients in a timely and courteous manner.
• Support food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining areas, and related workspaces.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and help maintain a clean and organized food service environment.
• Follow dietary instructions and portion requirements as directed by the care team.
• Communicate any concerns regarding food preferences, allergies, or special dietary needs to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with stocking supplies and rotating inventory as needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, nursing, and support staff to provide a positive dining experience.
