Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year’s work in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks as directed by the supervisor.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and beverages; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation guidelines.
• Pre-preparation tasks: wash, peel and cut vegetables/fruits; slice meat; portion for menu items.
• Cleans dishware and kitchen areas; follows cleaning schedule.
• Set up before meal service and break down after service.
