Job summary

The Grand at Guilderland is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support the dietary department in daily meal service for residents. You will help with food preparation, tray setup, and ensuring clean and organized dining areas.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical capability: Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Experience: Experience in food service is a plus.
• Teamwork: Positive attitude and able to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Dish room Operations: Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
• Food Preparation & Tray Setup: Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
• Meal Delivery: Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Beverage & Soup Service: Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.
• Restocking & Waste Management: Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
