Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. This role helps provide nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for residents in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities include assisting in meal prep and service, maintaining a clean kitchen, and ensuring safety and sanitation. Prior food service experience is preferred but we provide training to the right candidate, and a caring, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or service preferred, but not required - training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals for residents, staff, and special events as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas after each meal.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and stored.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager to support smooth kitchen operations.
