Job summary

Stoneybrook Health and Rehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals. You will help maintain clean work areas and ensure proper handling of food and equipment, while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.

The role requires you to assist in serving meals, preparing between-meal snacks, and supporting daily cleaning tasks as directed by supervision. Teamwork and reliable attendance are essential in this role at our facility in Manhattan, KS.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Employee may be required to use a transfer/gait belt or obtain assistance when lifting or carrying objects.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Clean work tables, refrigerators, food storage and related equipment.
• Carry out dishwashing/cleaning procedures and ensure utensils are available for next meal.
