Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a Dietary Aide in a nursing home setting. You will plate and serve meals, follow diet orders, and support dietary services with a focus on timely, accurate, and satisfying meals.

Applicants should have healthcare dietary exposure and be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods in a busy kitchen environment; training in food safety is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care dietary experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Plate and serve meal trays according to planned menus.
• Communicate effectively with the director of dietary services.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure meals are timely, accurate, and satisfying.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Duties as assigned.
