Thornapple Manor in Hastings, MI is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support daily meal service for residents. You will assist in the dietary department under the Food Service Director, ensuring meals are prepared, portioned, and served with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires a high school education or equivalent, basic English reading/writing, and reliable teamwork. Part-time schedule includes day shifts (11am-7:30pm) with rotating weekends and opportunities for benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school education or equivalent is desired.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Basic arithmetic and record-keeping skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work with residents.
• Able to work with dietary staff and coordinate with Food Service Director.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a timely, appetizing manner.
• Assist in meal service and food preparation as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
