Responsibilities

• Handle and store all food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines
• Assist with food preparation as assigned
• Prepare food items following standardized recipes and safety practices
• Set up the food tray line
• Assemble diet trays and deliver to dining areas or units
• Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment per procedures
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferably one year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting
