Position Summary

The dietary aide assists with meal preparation, delivery, and cleanup, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Food Handlers Certification required before starting work
• Healthcare experience preferred

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and delivery; wash dishes and utensils maintaining high sanitation standards
• Handle chemicals safely with PPE, following safety guidelines
• Maintain clean, safe work areas per sanitation and safety policies
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and equipment sanitation
• Report equipment issues promptly
• Adhere to dress code and workplace behavior standards
• Maintain regular attendance
• Provide positive customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Perform other duties as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform movements like pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.

Work Schedule

Includes some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position.
