Position Summary

The dietary aide assists with meal preparation, delivery, and clean-up in accordance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude
• Ability to read, write, speak English, and follow instructions
• Food Handlers Certification required before starting
• Healthcare experience preferred

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep, delivery, and dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness standards
• Handle chemicals safely with PPE
• Maintain clean, safe work areas following sanitation policies
• Perform cleaning duties as scheduled
• Report equipment issues promptly
• Follow dress code and workplace behavior standards
• Maintain regular attendance
• Provide positive customer service to residents and families
• Other duties as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and reach, with or without accommodations.

Work Schedule

Includes some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position.
