Job summary

Allure of Geneseo is a 72-bed Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a self-driven Dietary Aide to assist and prepare meals for residents. Applicants must hold a Sanitation certification or Food Handler Certification and have a strong work ethic and compassionate character.

Experience in dietary or food services is preferred, and the team values good resident and family relationships. This is a full-time position with benefits and a supportive work environment.

Job description

Allure of Geneseo is a 72bed Skilled Nursing Facility looking for self-driven, caring, and an experienced Dietary Aide. The facility runs a very special open dining program, and would love for you to join the family! Position needed to assist and prepare food for the residents.

Applicants must:

• Have a Sanitation certification in good standing from the State of Illinois or Food Handler Certification.
• A minimum of one-year dietary or food services experience preferred.
• Have strong work ethic, compassionate character, and good people skills.
• Want to be part of a happy and harmonious team.
• Place importance on fostering good resident and family relationships.
• Possess excellent people skills.
• Be in good standing with the State of Illinois for a criminal background check including fingerprints.

Experience: Dietary: 1 year (Preferred)

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License: Sanitation or Food Certification (Preferred)
