Position Summary :

Provide assistance and support in all food-related functions, including preparation, processing, and delivery to patients.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requested.
• Help with meal preparation according to patient dietary needs.
• Assist in serving meals that are palatable and visually appealing.
• Set up meal service timely, maintain food carts, and deliver meal trays.
• Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal prep and cleanup.
• Keep work areas clean (sweep/mop floors, sterilize countertops, etc.).
• Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, and meal service trays.
• Return clean dishes and utensils to proper storage areas.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and food waste per facility regulations.
• Prepare food supplies for the next meal.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and precautions at all times.
