Job summary

Priority Management Group is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join Ridgeview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Cleburne, TX. The role supports long-term care residents by assisting in daily meal service and kitchen operations within a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and, preferably, one year of large-scale cooking/food service experience. Day shift, team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year’s work in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established facility policies and procedures
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area
• Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc., and take to dishwashing area
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas
• Serve food in dining room
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc.
• Assist in serving meals on a timely basis
• Distribute and collect menus
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Return clean utensils to proper storage areas
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and eventsDispose of food and waste in accordance with established facility policies
• Follow established infection prevention and control policies and procedures when completing daily tasks
• Always follow safety regulations and precautions
