Milford Regional Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the food service team. In this role, you will support various food service operations under the Diet Supervisors’ guidance and ensure patient satisfaction through meal delivery. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service, strong communication skills, and the stamina to meet the demands of a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Statement of Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Diet Supervisors, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of food service, dish room duties and cash handling duties as well as other related activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Ability to read, write, speak & understand English at a 8th grade level. High school graduate preferred.
Certification / License: Serve Safe certification preferred.
Experience: Food service experience in a health care facility preferred. Must have good positive, interpersonal Communication skills.
Ability to read & comprehend patient meal ticket information in English –food items, name, room #
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Possess stamina to constantly make trips up & down to patient floors, delivering / retrieving trays,
floor supplies, etc. throughout the shift
Ability to stand throughout the shift while performing duties.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in English.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are:$2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
