Job summary

Valley View Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our resident meals and dining services in Grand Rapids, MI. You will help prepare meals, plate and assemble patient trays, and assist with serving and tray delivery, while upholding high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

You will join an EPICteam focused on excellent customer service and teamwork, with 8-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and afternoon/evening hours (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
• Team player who supports colleagues and completes tasks to keep operations smooth.
• Experience in food service or dietary aide roles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation following guidelines and regulations.
• Plate food and assemble trays for patients.
• Assist with serving in dining room or delivering trays to rooms.
• Participate in daily kitchen and dining area cleaning to maintain cleanliness.
• Promote hospitality and positive interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
